Mebelplast. A new collection of furniture in 2009.
On March 23-27 this year, Mebelplast S.A., the leading Polish manufacturer and exporter of upholstered furniture presented in their Livingroom by Mebelplast salon in Olsztyn a new collection of furniture in 2009 which was launched at the trade fair in Mechelen, Belgium.
The colors of the new collection of the Mebelplast furniture refers to the latest trends in the big world of fashion - white and black.
Most of the models from the latest collection were draped in a unique organic material called Genetic – a nanotechnology innovation in the world of upholstery materials. The secret of Genetic is hidden in its mechanical properties: its tensile strength, as well as the tear, elongation, flexibility, and Martindale abrasion resistance. Genetic provides the user with a 100% organic and recyclable material.
It should also be noted that Mebelplast is the exclusive distributor of the Genetic material and is available only in the Livingroom by Mebelplast salons.
Presented in the five day exhibition, the collection of Mebelplast also included a number of models of furniture made in the best of fabric and leather. The most popular were the furniture models of Santana and Cobra in the Cervo Weiss leather and the Manchester model made of the Semanil Weiss leather. What deserved special attention in this model were the drapings and high gloss varnished wood overlays appearing on the front of the elbow supports.

The Emporio sofa was presented in California beige leather. Equally interesting were the proposals in the furniture fabrics such as, among others, the Black Jack sofa wearing a thick strand of chenille or the Normandie and Lord sofas in leo/tempo velvet fabrics. The visitors could also admire the art forms such as the Scala sofa - wearing a white velvety Jaguar fabric or the Sonja armchair made of EKO kaiman Weiss leather. What deserved special attention in this model were also the Fantasi sofa made from a combination of Diego/Vitas slow burning fabrics and the Eton set of sofas dressed in the unique ecological material of Genetic.
