The train to Livingroom! The longest sofa in the world.
On 22 April, 2009 in the arcades of the Royal Castle in Warsaw was held a demonstration of the latest fashion collections of Ewa Minge – the Black & White Obsession Luxury Show. After fifteen years of work on the renovation of the arcades, Ewa Minge came in the first by organizing the show whose theme were the black and white colors.
Livingroom by Mebelplast prepared for this occasion two mega sofas whose total length was 140 m. To produce the sofas, their manufacturer, the Mebelplast Company, consumed 362 current meters of organic skin, more than 23 km of thread and 473 meters of consecutively arranged corrugated springs.
The "Black & White Style" show was an essential element - from the collection, through the arrangements, ending with the visitors. One of the three parts of the Black & White Obsession Collection had its opening at this year’s Paris Fashion Week Show in the Haute Couture category, the most prestigious events in the fashion industry.
