Mebelplast the Largest Exhibitor at "Meble 2008" Interior Decoration Tradeshow in Poznań

Mebelplast the Largest Exhibitor at “Meble 2008” Interior Decoration Tradeshow in Poznań. During the four days’ trade event (28-31 May 2008) Mebelplast – Poland’s leading upholstered furniture manufacturer and exporter – presented their offer of especially designed furniture arrangements on the area of nearly 3000 m2. Attractive design following latest fashion trends as well as abundance of high quality upholstery fabrics and furniture manufactured by Mebelplast attracted more and more visitors each next day of the event.

Visitors were exceptionally interested in new furniture models and fabrics. During the four tradeshow days Mebelplast presented such furniture models as: Accord, Alicante, Amigo, Arosa, Cambridge, Chill, Cobra, Corolla, Grande, San Siro, Torino, Fernando, Belvue, Cresta, Caracas, Magic, Medina, Napoli, Santana, Cubico and Verona. In numerous models Mebelplast introduced new comfortable seat fills made of Natuzzi’s high resiliency foam. What is more, they also presented so called 50/50 seat fills – the base is made of foam while feathers or komfortel (silicon balls) constitute the upper layer. This solution guarantees extraordinary softness.

Among numerous trade novelties presented by Mebelplast it is worth mentioning the Napoli sofa produced from loom – a material resembling European rattan. Loom is manufactured from Scandinavian trees processed into wood pulp, which in turn is the main component of ART-FIBER threads used for weaving mats. Consequently, the product is highly resilient and durable.

Mebelplast expanded their rich collection of fabrics by new pieces: soft jacquards with floral patterns and stripes, glossy blacks combined with silver, and thick chenille with oriental pattern blended with modern colours of black and white. Visitors were very interested in natural leather, so called semi-aniline – a material with smooth surface and subtle structure, very soft and fine to the touch - as well as in artificial leather presented in eight colours. One of the fabrics which drew visitors’ attention during exhibition was Dehli – its uniqueness is achieved by combination of two textures which distinguish its velvet ecru pattern on the linen imitating background of the same colour. Owing to a wide variety of patterns, such as ornaments/ regular stripes, stripes of various widths and flowers, possibilities to combine fabrics with furniture are plentiful – especially with regard to Country collection. Mebelplast also expanded their catalogue by cotton fabrics offered in two colours: deep red and azure. Each colour is available in two patterns: flowers and stripes, which can be combined together on one piece of furniture or some other interior element.

During the tradeshow Mebelplast introduced a new ecological fabric brand named ECO, which is purely made of cotton. The fabric is woven from highest quality yarn free from any chemical additives or pesticides. Thanks to thorough monitoring of the entire production process Mebelplast makes sure that only natural resources are utilized in the process. The fabric is dyed with use of natural indigo dye manufactured from indigo shrubs, which were already used by the ancient Egyptians. In the end company receives a 100% natural fabric that does not cause any allergies and is environment friendly. Furniture finished with use of ECO fabric is designated for customers who prefer environment friendly comfort and elegance.

Nowadays, ecology is not only about environment protection - it became a lifestyle as well. More and more clients from Poland and the rest of Europe decide to purchase “green” goods – which are human and environment friendly at the same time. Being aware of their social responsibility, numerous companies react to this demand by introducing ecological food, cars and clothes to the markets. By enriching their offer by natural fabrics Mebelplast became one of the first furniture manufacturers to take responsibility for the world around us. Any house, apartment or office constitutes our natural environment, for which clients can take care by selecting Mebelplast armchairs and sofas made with ECO - natural cotton fabric.

Apart from all the above mentioned novelties, Mebelplast exhibited their present models in new block arrangements with selected fabrics and leathers. The collection best sellers - large sofas - were expanded by new corner arrangements with two depths available. The furniture exhibited during the trade event was presented in numerous combinations of blocks, upholstery fabrics and colours, which were just a proposal of nearly unlimited possibilities for adapting any model to any interior. Mebelplast catalogue exceeds 400 models in various block arrangements, while the collection of upholstery fabrics and leather constitutes more than 1000 items to choose from.

Mebelplast large exhibition was highly recognized and they were awarded „Acanthus Aureus” award by Poznań International Fair. The award is granted for the best reflection of marketing strategy in trade exhibition, creation of positive company image and provision of favourable conditions for direct communication with clients and business partners. The fact that Mebelplast exhibition was particularly popular among journalists and interior designers confirms that this prestigious award was rightfully earned by them.

On the Poznań trade event Mebelplast exhibited Eva Minge for Livingroom collection for the first time. It was created by Mebelplast together with Eva Minge – famous fashion designer. The collection perfectly combines latest fashion trends and haute couture with interior design. This most exclusive offer fashioned with extraordinary spirit and taste is addressed to clients expecting something more than comfortable and aesthetic furniture solutions.
